About The Author

FJ Murphy is a retired Naval Officer, former Peace Corps Volunteer (Morocco), and educator with a strong background in philosophy, languages, and technology.
Mr. Murphy has published several philosophy and military strategy articles, which analyzed the impact of technology on youth and the modern military. He also drew on 50 years of travel and immersion in different cultures to craft a multicultural, multilingual, multigenerational novel that explores the dangers of unchecked introduction of cutting-edge technology into modern society. Mr. Murphy was born and raised in a New Jersey shore town and received his education at Montclair State University, New Jersey, Fordham University Graduate School, New York, and the U.S. Military’s Joint Officer Graduate Programs at Quantico and Norfolk, Virginia. Notably, for the past 12 years, Mr. Murphy has served as a respected coach and judge in regional High School Ethics Bowl competitions and the International Philosophy Olympiad High School Essay contests, inspiring the next generation of thinkers.
